Capri Pizza is one of the oldest names in Windsor pizza. The original store on Dougall Avenue in South Windsor dates to about 1960; Bob Kalaydjian bought the business in 1972, passed it to his son Kev and partner Jim Koumoutsidis in 1995, and the third generation of the family is now involved. Ten locations plus a St. Clair College kiosk make it a county-wide staple.

What to order at Capri

Capri’s signature pizzas are built on shredded pepperoni the Windsor way. Start with the Super, then work through the Meat Lovers, The Sopranos, the Galati (named for the Windsor cheesemaker), the Nick George and the Good Night Pizza. A Windsor institution

Capri opened its first franchise in Forest Glade in 1985 and its tenth location in Leamington in 2009. The South Windsor arena was renamed the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex in 2017, and the company sponsors an annual Capri Soccer Match. Capri is number two in our best pizza in Windsor ranking.
