Naples Pizza – Tilbury

Riviera Pizza & Spaghetti House is a reminder of what Windsor pizzerias looked like before the chains. Opened in 1976 by Charlie and Josie Mazza, it passed to their son Peter and his wife Renee, and later made national news when two brothers aged 21 and 17 bought it and became among the youngest pizzeria owners in Canada. It now sits on Wyandotte Street East in Riverside’s historic shopping and arts district.
Pizza and a side of spaghetti, the way it has always been ordered. The pizza is hand-tossed with no frozen ingredients and no microwave, and the kitchen makes its own vegan dough, vegan cheese and gluten-free crust. Wings, panzerotti and a long pasta list round out the menu. For the local style, read our Windsor-style pizza guide.
Riviera is number twelve in our best pizza in Windsor ranking. Its change of ownership was covered by CBC Windsor and Canadian Pizza Magazine.
