About Roma’s Pizza House

Roma’s has been “a Riverside tradition since 1960,” which makes it one of the oldest pizza houses in the city still serving. It is a sit-down Italian and Greek family restaurant as much as a pizzeria: pasta dinners with soup or salad, gyros, ribs, haddock, and a pizza burger that regulars order for decades. The Greek salad gets called the best in town more than once, and the panzerotti with meat sauce has its own following. Reviewers say the current owner, Bill, “has taken over and made it even better.” Take-out is ready in twenty minutes, delivery has a $20 minimum, and the room books for parties. For the history of the style, read our guide to Windsor-style pizza.
