Naples Pizza – Tilbury
- June 28, 2026
Terra Cotta Gourmet Pizzeria is downtown Windsor’s wood-fired pizzeria, on Pelissier Street. Every pizza is baked in the traditional way beside a wood fire in a brick oven, thin and about twelve inches, on a handmade white or gluten-friendly crust. It is where Windsor goes when it wants something other than pepperoni and mushrooms.
The house Terra Cotta Pizza, the Frutti di Mare (scallops, calamari and shrimp) and the Campagnola (rapini, sausage and chili) are the pies to know, and the calzones are billed as “the infamous panzerotti.” Finish with a 10-inch Nutella pizza, and take home a bottle of the house hot sauce. One quirk regulars know: build-your-own pizzas come with no sauce or cheese unless you add them, because the kitchen makes every pizza exactly as ordered for dietary reasons.
Terra Cotta is the gourmet counterpoint to Windsor-style in our best pizza in Windsor guide, and one of the few places in the city baking over wood. For the local style, see our Windsor-style pizza guide.
Terra Cotta delivers and takes online orders through SkipTheDishes. It is closed Sunday and Monday.
